Hi-Fi Installers in London
Naturally, when you are watching something on your TV screen or in your home cinema, you want to feel as though you are right there, in the thick of the action. Your home’s sound system can be crucial to achieving this effect.
When playing music, you might be happy with a Hi-Fi system – which, along with a CD or network player, comprises an amplifier and two identical speakers. In your London home, we can install such a system, resulting in stereo sound.
However, we can go even further – by adding a subwoofer and an even higher number of speakers to create what is called surround sound. This can work with music but particularly comes into its own in home cinemas and media rooms.
Our Surround Sound Design and Installation is:
Discreet
The speakers will be installed in an inconspicuous fashion to leave your audio system looking slick.
Seamless
We can closely integrate your surround sound system with your home cinema or smart home.
Simple
In tuning and tweaking your surround sound system, we can perfect the audio experience.
Bespoke Sound Systems for Your Home
You have free rein over precisely what kind of home stereo system we install in your London residence. You hold all the cards – whether you seek a stereo sound solution, an enriched surround sound alternative or a yet more immersive 3D sound system.
In any case, though, the overall intention is to make you feel as though, as you enjoy your music, film or TV show, the sound is all around you. Hence, when installing a surround sound system for you, we will aim to cover your listening area from all sides.
A 3D sound system, however, goes even further. The sound systems we can install in London homes include Dolby Atmos, a 3D system which isolates individual sounds to intelligently shift them between multiple speakers fitted in the walls and ceiling of your three-dimensional space.

Surround Sound Installers in London
Nonetheless, it’s worth returning to the question: what is surround sound? Typically, when this kind of system is installed in a lounge or media room, it is what is known as a 5.1 system – so-called as it consists of five speakers and a bass subwoofer.
However, for a larger space, such as a home cinema, a 7.1 system might be more fitting. Installing a surround sound system in this form entails placing another two speakers behind the audience, meaning that seven speakers are installed in total.
The result is an even more immersive effect – as, while you can rely on the system’s front-centre speakers to hear dialogue, speakers to the back and side can handle ambient sound effects, such as sounds of leaves rustling or raindrops hitting a window.
